‘Let the rain come’ is a song I co-wrote with Simon Brading and Ben Hall a few years ago but, until now, have never actually recorded myself. But, if we are still praying for revival and still asking God to ‘let it rain’, then this could still be a useful song for us to be singing in our worship and prayer times.
I’m grateful to the legendary Bill Risby for the powerful piano track, to the amazing Anna Virkler for joining me on vocals, and to my son Matt Simmonds for all the percussion and my husband Miles for all the editing/mixing/mastering. I am so blessed to make music with my family!
I wanted to release this last offering from my ‘back catalogue’ of songs before we start to bring you some new music very soon. We’ll keep you posted!
