I know it’s only September, but if you’re looking to have an in-person Christmas service this year, then you’re probably already thinking about new songs to go alongside the traditional carols.
I love writing Christmas songs, and the opportunity they give to present the gospel at Christmas services. Over the next few weeks I’ll be posting several new Christmas songs and hope they’ll be useful to you.
First is ‘Joy (Your Light is Come)’ which is great for a choir, with a gospel flavour. Co-written with Geraldine Latty and Carey Luce, this recording features Carey on all instruments, young talents Naomi and Hannah Luce, and Geraldine and myself on vocals. We hope you enjoy it!
